The Spacebattles Multiverse Project is a collaborative worldbuilding project hosted on the Spacebattles forums. Includes a section for versus debates involving fictitious parties, a section dedicated to actual militaries and equipment and a forum dedicated to news and Real Life.
Hiver at Spacebattles has a lot of SI fics that a pretty decent. He will reincarnate in the DC universe with Osmosian powers, and crazily enhanced intelligence.
So I'll have a go with my own color of the spectrum.
SpaceBattles Debates: A sub-forum dedicated to debates. I'd like to submit my own SI fic - it's not an exact match to what you're looking for - he gets to Young Justice in about 20K words, and the writing isn't the greatest, since this is my first large-scale writing project, but I imagine it isn't too terrible a time waster.
So this is a bit of fun.
Features a lot time spent learning magic, and while the protagonist is powerful, he isn't overpowered. Toss out the script, make some changes, and see who he can screw with without coming off … Status: updating fairly quickly.
