I'm super excited to conclude the plot. This happened to me on 2 games. Survive. The second time, I noticed it was pausing in exactly the same place.

That being said, I am immensely disappointed that I spent $35 on this and have run into a corrupted saves on day 6. Trade to get what you need. The first time, I started over. Yes, it outright pushes you to dive into its hardest difficulty, however it can be adjusted to make certain elements more tolerable when frustrations get too high.

The graphics are okay-ish given that I'm playing on a regular Xbox One (they sometimes get veeery soft, but it's not big deal), the LOD pop-in can get extremely laggy at times, framerate is usually good - but none of this matters in the face of the incessant loading.

The game randomly crashed, then I couldn't load the save. If you get it off of steam, make sure to run it as administrator, or else the load times will be horrible for some reason. Pathologic 2 does a fine job of capturing the feelings of a town under distress, though it can feel like a painful chore to play with technical glitches and loading times … It's not actually unaplayable, somehow I made it to the end of day 2 like this.
