I love being scared to death and on the edge of my seat playing a scary game, but I also hate being scared and constantly being on edge is exhausting for me.

Project Scissors: NightCry is a brand new horror game from Hifumi Kono, the creator of the Clock Tower game series, and Takashi Shimizu, the director of The Grudge.
You initially assume the role of Monica Flores, a student enjoying a vacation with her friends (there are two other playable characters later in the game). Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I always set out to reach the end of a game, where credits appear before I write a review. NightCry uses modern camera angles, and this is a problem for the game's running system, which requires you to click on a point to run to it.

On the surface, NightCry is an atmospheric point-and-click horror adventure game in the vein of Clock Tower, where you lead your character around by clicking the mouse at things. Tweet Share Share.

NightCry Review (PC) ... NightCry comes off as a game that wants to have its cake and eat it: It tries to bring the atmosphere and artistic flourishes from Clock Tower: The First Fear together with the goofy exploitative violence and cheesy dialogue from its PSOne sequel, Clock Tower. NightCry has multiple endings, which are achieved by acquiring (or not acquiring) key items along the way, or by examining (or not examining) certain documents.
