benelli nova reliability

Re: Benelli Super Nova by Fsbirdhouse » Wed Aug 01, 2012 7:02 pm The very first new gun I ever bought was an 870 Wingmaster 3" magnum in 1962 when having a 3" gun was all the rage (actually, Dad bought it for me, and one for himself), and I killed a bunch of ducks and geese with it. If you want to store this gun in a truck, Jeep, ATV, cabin or someplace where the temperature and humidity are not well-controlled, then this is the gun for you. The heart of this shotgun is the lightweight steel skeleton framework over-molded with polymer for lightweight strength and weather resistance. You really don’t need a 3 1/2 gun because if you look at the load data for 3 inch shells they are the same or better then the 3 1/2s because of the tendency of shell manufactures to up play the big payloads which hamper the crucial killing element, velocity.

MSRP of the Nova H20 is $669. The nova is in a way an elegant tank.
It shoots like a semi-auto (not taking into account the recoil). I have had two Benelli's . The most common examples include the Mossberg 500/590 series, Remington Model 870, Winchester 1300 or Defender, Winchester Model 12, Benelli Nova, Kel-Tec KSG and Maverick 88. The instant you open the Super Nova’s red and white box you’re fully aware this matte black pumper means business. the primers dented lightly so the firing pin is short striking because of the separation .

2. The stock makes a huge difference, but I bought it for reliability …
With its durability and reliability, you simply can’t go wrong with a Benelli.

Re: benelli nova problem by foldinducks » Sun Dec 04, 2011 10:39 am found the problem.was some extra material in the forearm release causing it to stick in the depressed position.took an emery file to it , blew it out with some carb cleaner and i think were good.functions fine now.would have expected better molding from this company. We do have some good choices, the Browning BPS that is offered in an amazing variety of gauges and styles, the Remington 870, the Benelli Nova and the revitalized Winchester 1300, … UPDATE: After meeting with hammer, vise and Dremel my Supernova reconsidered feeding problems. The first was a 12 ga. Montefeltro, it kicked hard with 3" shells and it was wood stocked. It is comfortable with all but the largest 3.5" shells. Dual action bars and a two-lug rotating bolt head make the SuperNova a solid, reliable choice for every hunter. There was last attempt to resist in form … Benelli super nova I was looking for the same thing you are in a gun over all versatility If you want a reliable gun pick up a benelli super nova It has a removable stock and doesn't have that notorious rattle in the forearm. Today we’re going over the Benelli SuperNova Tactical shotgun. i have a 4mo.

If we want what we say we want, affordable reliability and build quality, the pump is hard to beat. Plus it comes in a 3.5 inch receiver.
